Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting.
- Establish, review, and enhance financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to support business objectives and regulatory compliance.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial analysis to support effective business decision-making.
- Monitor financial performance and provide meaningful insights, recommendations, and strategic guidance to management.
- Conduct periodic internal reviews and audits to identify risks, strengthen controls, and drive operational improvements.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to improve profitability, optimise costs, and support sustainable business growth.
- Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for business performance enhancement.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting standards, taxation, and regulatory compliance in Singapore.
- Proven ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights and strategic recommendations.
- Hands-on leader with a strong operational mindset and willingness to be actively involved in day-to-day finance activities.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.
- Proficient in ERP systems, financial modelling, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with GTP and MES systems will be an added advantage.
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
