Job Description

Job Summary

The Senior Technical Lead is responsible for providing technical leadership, overseeing project delivery, and ensuring successful service management for clients. This role combines technical expertise, project management, and service delivery responsibilities to ensure solutions are designed, implemented, and supported in accordance with business objectives, quality standards, and service level commitments.

The incumbent will act as the primary technical authority while managing project execution, stakeholder engagement, and operational service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

  • Lead solution architecture, system design, and technical implementation activities.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development and engineering teams.
  • Review technical designs, code quality, and solution performance.
  • Establish and enforce development standards, best practices, and governance.
  • Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and technical solutions.

Project Management

  • Manage end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Define project scope, timelines, resource requirements, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
  • Provide regular project status updates to management and clients.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget, and agreed timelines.

Service Delivery Management

  • Oversee post-implementation support and operational service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Act as the primary escalation point for critical incidents and service issues.
  • Conduct service review meetings with clients and stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous service improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.

Stakeholder & Client Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and business stakeholders.
  • Lead technical discussions, solution presentations, and project governance meetings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align business and technical objectives.
  • Support pre-sales activities, solution proposals, and technical assessments.

Team Leadership

  • Mentor, coach, and develop technical team members.
  • Conduct performance reviews and technical capability assessments.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance working environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in software development, system implementation, or technology consulting.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience leading technical teams.
  • Proven experience in Project Management and Service Delivery Management.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, system integration, cloud technologies, and enterprise solutions.
  • Experience managing client-facing projects and operational support services.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, ITIL, and project governance frameworks.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Preferred Certifications

  • PMP / PRINCE2 Certification
  • ITIL Foundation or higher
  • Scrum Master Certification
  • Cloud Certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP)
