Job Description

The Manufacturing Engineer must have electrical background to support the assembly and testing of electronics products. This role requires hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical systems, along with expertise in manufacturing process optimization. The engineer will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on the shop floor, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This position also serves as a subject matter expert (SME) for electrical testing processes and plays a key role in the successful introduction of new products into manufacturing. The engineer will leverage Lean Six Sigma methodologies and advanced manufacturing practices to optimize workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance product quality. • Support and optimize the assembly and testing of electrical and electronics products • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues during production • Validation, setup, and troubleshooting of complex electrical test systems • Develop and implement standardized work instructions for assembly and testing • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for manufacturing defects • Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams to improve manufacturability and product reliability • Review and implement engineering change orders • Improve testing system stability focuses on reducing variation, eliminating false failures, and ensuring repeatable, reliable results. • Drive process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and lower manufacturing costs • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards Minimum Requirements • Bachelor's degree in electrical and electronics engineering or related field. • Hands-on experience in electrical testing systems • In-depth understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and test systems. • Familiarity with mechanical systems and integration with electrical components. • Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, planning, quality, supply chain and production teams • Experience with advanced electrical testing system • Working knowledge of SAP ERP/MRP systems for production and manufacturing control • LabVIEW programming experience Veronica Neo Shen Hwa - [email protected] Personnel Reg No: R1110855 Manpower Staffing Services (S) Pte Ltd EA Licence No: 02C3423 Veronica, Shen Hwa Neo EA License No.: 02C3423 Personnel Registration No.: R1110855 Please note that your response to this advertisement and communications with us pursuant to this advertisement will constitute informed consent to the collection, use and/or disclosure of personal data by ManpowerGroup Singapore for the purpose of carrying out its business, in compliance with the relevant provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act 2012.
