Key Responsibilities
1. Electrical System Design & Documentation
• Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control layouts.
• Define specifications for sensors, motors, actuators, I/O modules, breakers, power supplies, and communication lines.
• Conduct testing, wiring checks, and prototype assembly when required.
2. PLC & Control System Engineering
• Understand control architectures involving PLCs, SBCs, sensors and actuators.
• Read and write PLC ladder logic (Mitsubishi Electric environment preferred).
• Work with Modbus TCP, RS485 and other industrial communication protocols.
• Coordinate integration with software engineers.
• Perform on-site testing and commissioning at customer locations.
3. Supplier Coordination & Technical Purchasing
• Source components and communicate technical requirements to electrical suppliers.
• Review drawings, quotations and samples for technical accuracy.
• Track deliveries and verify compliance with specifications.
• Support BOM validation and vendor selection.
4. Research & Solution Development
• Research new components, sensors, and integration methods.
• Evaluate feasibility and propose improvements to system architecture.
• Support continuous improvement in reliability, safety and performance.
Requirements
• Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Able to read and design electrical schematics (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar).
• Strong understanding of system architecture across PLC, SBC, sensors, actuators and mechanical subsystems.
• Familiar with industrial protocols (Modbus TCP, RS485, etc.).
• Comfortable coordinating with external vendors.
Nice to Have
• Basic mechanical understanding (assembly, tolerances, motion systems).
• Experience with cost evaluation, BOM alternatives or supply chain considerations.
• Experience in machine wiring and panel building.
This role is open to international candidate.
