The Despatch / Messenger is responsible for handling the delivery and collection of documents, parcels, and other items within and outside the organization in a timely and secure manner. This role ensures smooth operational support by maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in all assigned tasks.
Job Responsibilities
• Collect, deliver, and distribute documents, parcels, and other items between departments and external parties
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of confidential and sensitive materials.
• Assist in filing, photocopying, and other administrative tasks when required.
• Maintain proper records of all deliveries and collections for tracking purposes.
• Handle urgent deliveries promptly and efficiently.
• Support office errands such as banking transactions, postage, and other operational needs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during all tasks.
• Maintain good communication and coordination with internal teams and external vendors.
• Coordinate and oversee routine vendor maintenance activities, including landscaping, document shredding services, and vending machine replenishment.
• Manage and provide support at the Mail Counter located in our office premises
• Provide support for any internal bankwide activities and assist in organizing and/or distributing of corporate gifts/festive items.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by Management from time to time.
Requirement
• Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent qualification.
• Ability to handle confidential documents with discretion.
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, and a team-player.
• Responsible, reliable, and good accountability
• Location: Raffles Place, (required to travel between RP and Changi Business Park - Plaza 8)
Working Hours: 9am - 6pm, Monday to Friday.
