Part-Time Lecturer (Public Policy and Global Affairs)

The Public Policy And Global Affairs Programme, School Of Social Sciences, Invites Applications For Part-time Lecturers (PTLs). We Are Looking For PTLs Who Can Contribute To Teaching (conducting Tutorials And Assessment) The Core Courses In The Programme, Specifically • Fundamentals of Politics • Politics of Singapore • Introduction to International Relations and Foreign Policy • Introduction to Political Theory • Introduction to Public Administration and Policy Key Responsibilities • Attend lectures (to be discussed and agreed with course coordinator). • Conduct tutorials and assessments for the assigned course. • Grade course assignments (including tests, quizzes, exam scripts). • Invigilate the final examination. • Work closely with the course coordinator to handle students’ queries on course related matter. Qualification And Requirement • A least a Master Degree in social sciences, specialisation in a political science subfield will be an advantage. • Some prior tutoring/lecturing experience will be an advantage. • Able to tutor/lecture during office hours.
