Finance Manager (SG/MY) [EL]

Job Summary

The Finance Manager, reporting to the Regional Controller, will lead regional finance operations across SEA, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and strong internal controls. This role plays a key part in driving process excellence and supporting business operations across multiple countries.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead regional finance operations covering AP, AR, and GL across Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand

• Ensure accurate and timely financial closing and reporting

• Oversee statutory reporting, tax compliance, and regulatory submissions

• Serve as the key finance partner to regional and site stakeholders

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance team

• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax laws, and internal control frameworks

• Drive finance process improvements, automation, and standardisation initiatives

• Manage relationships with tax advisors, auditors, and regulatory authorities

• Support audits and ensure timely completion of statutory filings

• Undertake additional responsibilities as required

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA)

• At least 10 years of relevant finance experience, with a minimum of 3 years in people management

• Strong background in manufacturing or logistics environments, preferably with exposure to Malaysia operations

• Demonstrated experience in process improvement and internal control enhancement
