Job Description

  • Manage and oversee finance functions and operations for all entities within the Group
  • Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements and management reports.
  • Payroll administration and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
  • Lead and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing of accounts, account reconciliations and financial reporting in accordance with Singapore FinancialReporting Standards.
  • Monthly cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and prepare consolidated cash flow forecast.
  • Responsible for quarterly GST returns. Assist in annual tax computation and returns.
  • Perform financial analysis to support business decisions and optimize profitability
  • Prepare annual budget and forecasts
  • Coordinate with auditors, operations, HR and external stakeholders as needed
  • Handle year-end audit, liaise with external auditors, corporate secretary and tax agent
  • Develop, enhance and implement internal control systems across the Group
  • Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification
  • ACCA, CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification preferred
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in group consolidation and financial reporting
  • At least 5 years in supervisory/management role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, financial and accounting software (e.g. SAP, ODOO)
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and Singapore tax regulations.
  • Meticulous, strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Proactive, hands-on, detail-oriented, a good team player and able to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and people skills who can liaise with the management and site teams
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead supervise junior finance staff and drive process improvements
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin will be an advantage as the role requires regular interaction with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
