Director, Finance & Operations (SME)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the full spectrum of finance operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, taxation, and audit.

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the organisation’s long-term objectives.

• Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), regulatory requirements, and internal governance policies.

• Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insights, risk assessments, and decision-support analysis.

• Oversee corporate finance activities, including funding, investment evaluation, and cost optimisation initiatives.

• Strengthen internal controls, risk management frameworks, and financial processes.

• Manage relationships with auditors, tax agents, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities.

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to build strong capabilities and succession planning.

Requirements

• Recognised degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline.

• Professional certification such as CA (Singapore), CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.

• At least 10 years of relevant finance experience, with demonstrated leadership experience in a senior finance role.

• Strong knowledge of SFRS, Singapore tax regulations, and corporate governance requirements.

• Proven experience in financial planning & analysis, budgeting, and strategic financial management.

• Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

• High level of integrity, professionalism, and sound judgement.
