Secondary English Teacher – Singapore
Start Date: August 2026
Are you an experienced English teacher looking for an exciting international opportunity in one of the world’s most dynamic cities? A unique not-for-profit international school in Singapore is seeking a Secondary English Teacher to join their team from August 2026.
This inclusive school offers education from nursery through secondary, promoting a holistic learning experience that nurtures students into socially responsible, well-rounded individuals. Teachers do not need to follow a particular faith, but should be supportive of the school’s multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Secondary English, including GCSE and A Level
• Deliver engaging lessons and support a holistic education philosophy
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and culturally aware classroom environment
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Degree in English or a related subject
• Proven record of outstanding teaching
• 2–5+ years post-qualification teaching experience (5+ preferred)
• Experience in international education and teaching IMYC/IGCSE is advantageous
Salary & Benefits:
• SGD $5,000 – $6,500 per month (dependent on experience)
• Housing allowance (SGD $2,000 – $2,500 per month)
• Relocation flights at the start and end of contract for teacher and up to 2 dependents
