An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Senior Finance Manager to be based in the West region of Singapore. Our client is an established multinational manufacturer of machineries and technologies. Over the years, they have also grown into an innovator of automation, smart factory solutions and software.

About the role:

The Senior Finance Manager leads financial strategy, enhancing financial discipline, cost competitiveness, and decision‑support across a manufacturing environment. The role oversees end‑to‑end financial management, ensuring strong systems, policies, and processes while providing hands‑on leadership beyond statutory reporting to maintain accuracy and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead manufacturing finance and cost management, ensuring accurate costing, inventory valuation, variance analysis, and driving structured cost‑down initiatives.       
• Provide transparent profitability insights across products, projects, and business units.      
• Partner with operations and management to support strategic decisions, capital investments, pricing, and financial impact analysis of operational KPIs.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, scenario analysis, and proactive performance management to enable timely decision‑making.     
• Lead and strengthen the accounting and finance function, ensuring robust controls, efficient month‑end close, and effective finance systems and governance.   
• Provide independent financial judgement, uphold ethical standards, and manage financial risk, including tax compliance, incentives, and regulatory frameworks.

Key requirements:

• MBA / Masters in Finance / Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ Finance     
• 15 years of solid experience with 8 years in managerial or leadership role within the manufacturing industry    
• CPA / CA/ ACCA preferred
• Strong expertise in manufacturing finance, including standard costing, inventory valuation, cost governance, and margin management under IFRS.
• Proven effectiveness in complex, deadline‑driven environments while balancing operational demands, leadership duties, and strategic decision support.
• Trusted partner to senior management and external stakeholders, handling confidential information with professionalism and consistent reliability.
