Job Description

Compensation: S$2,000–S$3,000/month (dependent on experience) + 13th-month bonus + up to 3 months variable bonus. 5-day work week, inclusive of 1 weekend day (Saturday or Sunday). BullionStar is Singapore’s leading precious metals dealer. We sell, buy back, store, and deliver physical gold, silver, and platinum to customers worldwide – from first-time buyers to large investors. We run a showroom in Singapore, an online store, and vault storage in several countries. We are independently owned and keep our team small on purpose. There is no corporate red tape. Decisions happen fast, everyone is close to the customer, and every person makes a real difference. We’ve built our name on trust, honesty, and doing things right. We’re looking for people who like that kind of setup – people who want real responsibility, not fancy titles, and who get energy from building something rather than just keeping things running. Why This Role Exists Every piece of gold and silver we hold belongs to someone who trusts us to keep it safe. When a customer stores with us, they trust that their metals are exactly where we say they are, in the right amount. When they place an order, they trust that the right product gets to the right place, on time. This role exists to protect that trust at the most basic level – by making sure every item is handled correctly, every time. This is hands-on, physical work. It needs someone who is strong, careful, and takes pride in getting things right. It’s an entry-level role, but the responsibility is real from day one. You’ll be handling products worth thousands of dollars, where one counting mistake matters. For the right person – someone who is precise, reliable, and physically up for it – this is a great way to start a career in precious metals. What You’ll Own • Get Every Count Right - You’ll work side by side with the vault team, handling precious metals every day. That means receiving deliveries, checking everything against the paperwork, moving products to the right storage spots, and preparing items to go out. Every single item you touch needs to be counted, checked, and recorded correctly. No guessing, no shortcuts. You’ll learn how to test whether gold and silver are real, how to handle cash, and how to run inventory counts – all skills that need focus and a strong eye for detail. • Keep Orders Moving - You’ll help with online orders – picking products, packing them, double-checking, and sending them out. When things get busy, you’ll need to keep the same level of care. Speed matters, but getting it right always comes first. • Stay on Your Feet - This is a physical role. You’ll spend most of the day on your feet, moving around the vault and warehouse. The work involves regular lifting and carrying, so you should be comfortable with hands-on, active work rather than sitting at a desk. • Take Pride in the Showroom - You’ll help keep the showroom displays looking great. The showroom is the face of BullionStar, so every detail of how it looks matters. • Speak Up and Improve Things - If you see a better way to count, organise, or move things, tell us. If something doesn’t look right, flag it. The best people in this kind of work don’t just follow steps – they help make the steps better. Who We’re Looking For We care much more about who you are than what’s on your CV. The right person will have most or all of these traits: • Extremely careful. This is the most important thing. You count things twice because once isn’t enough. You notice when something is slightly off – a number that doesn’t match, a seal that looks different, a package that feels lighter than it should. You take accuracy seriously, and you never assume something is right without checking it yourself. • You’re comfortable doing physical work all day. Lifting, carrying, standing, and moving heavy items. Silver is heavy. Vault work is manual. You need real stamina and you should enjoy being active, not just put up with it. • Sharp eyes. You notice things other people walk past. A display that’s not lined up, a label in the wrong place, a shipment that doesn’t look how it should. Your first instinct is to look closer, not look away. • Honest and trustworthy. You’ll handle products worth tens of thousands of dollars every day. Total honesty is not optional. You do the right thing even when nobody is watching. • Good common sense. You stay calm when things get busy, make sensible choices without needing someone to tell you what to do, and deal with problems in a practical way. • Takes action. You don’t stand around waiting to be told. When you see something that needs doing, you do it. When you have an idea to make something better, you speak up. • Keen to learn. You bring energy every day. You want to understand how things work – the products, the processes, the industry. You’re not just looking for a pay cheque; you’re looking for something you can grow into. We don’t require a specific diploma or degree. If you have t...
