Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Security Operations Director to lead the foundational build-out, regulatory compliance, and market entry execution of a newly established Singapore Security Agency. This strategic leadership role demands expertise in security operations, licensing strategy, business development, and team building within Singapore’s security services sector.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end application and approval process for the Security Agency Licence, ensuring full compliance with Singapore Police Force regulations.
  • Manage eligibility documentation, prepare for Security Agencies Competency Evaluation (SACE), and oversee licensing submissions via the GoBusiness portal, proactively addressing regulatory queries.
  • Design and implement organisational structures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), compliance frameworks, and operational controls critical to licensing and sustainable agency operations.
  • Build, recruit, and scale the security workforce across all levels, including leadership, supervisors, and front-line officers, to meet operational demands.
  • Develop and execute systematic frameworks for employee recruitment, performance management, training, and adherence to security personnel standards.
  • Drive commercial strategy by leading tender participation and bid management for government (e.g., GeBIZ) and private sector security contracts.
  • Leverage extensive industry networks to accelerate client acquisition and secure initial contracts, establishing a competitive market presence.
  • Represent the company in key industry bodies, regulatory consultations, and stakeholder partnerships to influence sector developments and maintain compliance.
