Job Description

Responsibilities
Program & Delivery Leadership
• Lead and orchestrate multiple interdependent projects (infrastructure, portal, data, and application) under a unified migration roadmap.
• Apply Agile and Scrum practices at scale — facilitating sprint planning, backlog prioritisation, and iterative delivery across workstreams.
• Establish and maintain the overall program plan, milestones, and dependencies, ensuring alignment across all teams.
• Drive governance discipline with executive dashboards, risk registers, and progress reporting to the steering committee.
• Oversee release and change management, including rehearsal runs, cutover sequencing, rollback procedures, and post-migration stabilisation.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (infrastructure, application, data, security, and operations) to ensure alignment and delivery continuity.

Cloud Migration & Technical Governance
• Define and enforce migration strategies for compute, storage, and data to AWS Cloud (re-host, re-platform, or re-architect as appropriate).
• Collaborate with cloud architects and engineering teams to ensure designs meet scalability, resiliency, and compliance standards.
• Facilitate Agile sprint reviews and technical demos to validate incremental deliverables and remove blockers early.
• Oversee data migration and verification activities, including integrity checks, reconciliation, and rollback planning.
• Ensure operational readiness through detailed runbooks, knowledge transfer and DevSecOps integration.

Stakeholder & Change Management
• Serve as the single point of accountability for program scope, timeline, and business outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with executive sponsors, business stakeholders, IT leadership, and vendors, ensuring expectations are transparent and aligned.
• Establish structured stakeholder engagement and communication plans, incorporating Agile review cycles and feedback loops.
• Lead organizational change management — including communications, training, and user adoption plans — to support the shift to AWS Cloud.

Risk, Quality & Continuous Improvement

• Maintain active risk, issue, and dependency management with mitigation strategies and contingency planning.
• Conduct rollout rehearsals and cutover simulations to validate readiness for go live.
• Facilitate retrospectives, blameless post-mortems, and continuous improvement initiatives across the delivery teams.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and delivery excellence, enabling teams to iterate safely and respond to evolving business needs.

Requirements
• 10+ years in large-scale program or project management, with at least one major on-premises-to-cloud migration successfully delivered.

• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks, hybrid delivery models, and cross-team coordination.
• Proven leadership in infrastructure, data, and application migration projects; strong familiarity with AWS Cloud services and architectures.
• PMP and/or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Agilist preferred; AWS Cloud Practitioner or higher certification is an advantage.
• Excellent stakeholder communication, analytical thinking, and ability to manage ambiguity across multi-vendor environments.
• Strategic, outcome-driven, adaptive, and passionate about empowering teams through Agile practices and disciplined execution.
