Security Systems Engineer (IT)

Responsibilities

·      Responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of engineering projects from inception to completion. The role involves working closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Project Engineer will play a critical role in planning, designing, and executing engineering projects while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards.

·      Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets. Coordinate and communicate project requirements with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal teams. Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that arise.

·      Manage project costing and project billing/claim

·      Preparation and submission of drawings or documents

·      Monitor site progress and arrangement of work activities

·      Manage, coordinate and supervise site activities and sub-contractors to ensure smooth and safe project execution, and compliance ton quality standards

·      Attend co-ordination meeting. Actively participate in meetings as requested

·      Prepare and present progress reports & documentations, project claims, technical reports and relevant documents for monthly events

·      Liaise / Meeting / Coordination with project teams, clients, contractors and suppliers

·      Plan and manage project scope and schedule to ensure satisfactory project completion according to schedule and specification

·      Good knowledge in project management methodology to ensure project is completed on time within budget, contractual and safety standard

·      Assist in managing project resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment. Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of necessary resources. Track and manage project costs to ensure budget adherence.

Requirements

·      Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) or a related field

·      Experience with the following is an added value:

- Security and Surveillance Systems

- Have been involved in projects from inception to completion

·      Having own transportation or possess Class 3 license will be an advantage

·      Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·      Independent and strong team player with good organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

·      Ability to lead and motivate teams effectively

·      Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
