Software QA Engineer

Job Type: Contract (Renewable basis)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites covering UI, API, and performance testing.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support fast, reliable, and high-quality software releases.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and DevOps teams to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and quality standards.
• Investigate test failures, perform root cause analysis, and work with development teams to resolve defects efficiently.
• Contribute to QA best practices, automation frameworks, testing standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Explore and leverage GenAI tools to enhance testing workflows, including test case generation, test data management, and test result analysis.
• Maintain testing documentation and promote knowledge sharing across engineering teams.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Min. 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Test Engineering, with a strong focus on test automation.
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated tests for web applications, APIs, and performance testing.
• Familiarity with Java and/or JavaScript testing frameworks and automation tools.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and working within modern DevOps environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience working in Agile development environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to evaluate, recommend, and adopt appropriate testing tools and frameworks.
• Exposure to or interest in applying GenAI technologies within software testing workflows is advantageous.
