Manager (Engineering & Maintenance Management)

Key Responsibilities

Engineering & Maintenance Management

• Lead and manage engineering and maintenance operations across commercial, industrial, residential, institutional, marine, and offshore facilities.
• Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and asset lifespan.
• Ensure optimal performance of all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems and critical infrastructure.
• Manage maintenance planning, shutdown activities, asset integrity programs, and equipment lifecycle management.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring equipment failures.

Facilities Management Operations

• Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of facilities under management.
• Ensure all building systems operate efficiently, including:HVAC systemsElectrical power distribution systemsFire protection systemsPlumbing and sanitary systemsBuilding Management Systems (BMS)Security and access control systemsLifts and escalators
• Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs), KPIs, and client requirements.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, technical officers, supervisors, and technicians.
• Conduct performance evaluations and identify training and development opportunities.
• Ensure effective manpower planning, workforce deployment, and succession planning.
• Foster a strong culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Project Management

• Lead engineering projects including:Facility upgradesAsset enhancement initiativesOffshore modificationsRefits and retrofitsMajor repairs and shutdownsNew equipment installations
• Prepare technical specifications, project plans, budgets, and tender documentation.
• Manage project schedules, resources, risks, and contractor performance.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ)

• Promote and enforce compliance with all HSEQ policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with:Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulationsBCA requirementsFire Safety regulationsISO standardsOffshore safety regulations and industry best practicesClassification society requirementsClient-specific safety standards
• Lead incident investigations, audits, safety inspections, and risk assessments.
• Ensure emergency preparedness plans are implemented and regularly tested.
