Platform Operations Engineer

Job Description

As a Platform Infra Engineer with Sedha, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the agency's infrastructure platforms. You will work on cutting-edge technologies to support various government digital services and ensure their reliability, scalability, and security.

What you will be working on:
1. Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions for cloud and on-premises environments
2. Develop and maintain automation scripts for infrastructure deployment and management
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and reliability
4. Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
5. Ensure infrastructure security through implementing best practices and regular audits
6. Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues
7. Participate in capacity planning and resource optimization
8. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
9. Contribute to the development of infrastructure-related policies andprocedures
10. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members

What we are looking for:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering or similar roles
3. Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and on-premisesinfrastructure
4. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
5. Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform orCloudFormation
6. Familiarity with containerization technologies and orchestration platforms
7. Understanding of networking concepts and protocols
8. Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements
9. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
10. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
11. Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are aplus
