Project Manager

Job Summary

Overall planning and management of the project, coordinating and allocating resources, identifying and resolving project risks and issues, coordinating internal teams, maintaining good client relationships, and ensuring the smooth progress and delivery of the project.

Key roles and responsibilities

End-to-End Commercial Project Process System Setup

• Develop and optimize the end-to-end management system for commercial projects from contract signing to product delivery, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) for project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Establish and continuously improve supply chain processes covering material procurement, production planning, inventory management, and logistics to ensure efficient execution of commercial projects.

Client Engagement and Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary client interface for commercial projects, responsible for daily communication to ensure clear requirements transmission and timely issue resolution, while maintaining long-term partnerships.
• Lead contract reviews, technology transfer, key milestone reporting, and deliverable acceptance to ensure projects meet client expectations and contractual obligations.

Project Delivery and Performance Management

• Lead the team to drive commercial projects according to plan, ensuring objectives in quality, cost, and timelines are achieved.
• Monitor project risks, develop contingency plans, and coordinate internal and external resources to resolve critical issues during project execution.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Process Optimization

• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, procurement, R&D, logistics, and other departments to ensure seamless integration across all stages of commercial projects.
• Conduct regular project reviews, propose improvement initiatives, and enhance team efficiency and project delivery capabilities.

Team Development and Capability Building

• Oversee the establishment, training, and performance management of the commercial project management team, enhancing professional expertise and customer service orientation.

Requirements:

• Master's degree or PhD degree in the pharmaceutical or biotech field.
• 5+ years of project management experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CDMO industry, including at least 2+ years in commercial project management or supply chain management.
• Proven track record of leading teams to successfully deliver multiple complex commercial projects.
• Expertise in project management methodologies (e.g.,PMP, Agile), with outstanding process design and optimization capabilities.
• Solid understanding of supply chain management in the pharmaceutical industry, including hands-on experience in material planning, capacity coordination, and logistics management.
• Excellent client communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage expectations and resolve complex issues effectively.
• Strong data analysis and decision-making skills, with the ability to drive continuous improvement through data-driven approaches.
• Fluent in English and capable of using it as a working language
