Network Engineer (12 months)

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a Network Engineer to help build out, maintain, and troubleshoot our customer network infrastructure environment.  You will work closely with the internal team and customer to demonstrate technical competence and deliver mission-critical infrastructure to ensure the levels of availability, performance, and security based on the respective company's needs.

Candidate will be stationed at NTC’s premises and provide onsite/remote support for the client’s IT administration and related support, as well as project implementation and management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Proficiency in switching and routing (particularly Cisco/Aruba).
2. Proficiency in wireless networking (particularly Cisco/Aruba/Ruckus.)
3. Proficiency in SDWAN and VPN technology (IPsec/SSL-VPN/SSE/SASE/SDWAN).
4. Experience in Firewall deployment/configuration/maintenance.
5. Ability to understand customers’ networking and security requirements.
6. Provide in-depth network design and ensure that solutions proposed meet customers’ needs.
7. Keeps abreast of technological advancements in the industry in the area of Infrastructure security.
8. Good understanding and exposure to Network & Security.
9. Understand the latest network/security threats & issues & their mitigating solutions.
10. Experience in provisioning Cloud platform (MS Azure/AWS) on networking and security setup, provisioning for Hybrid environment, and user remote access.
11. Ability to self-manage projects and provide timely updates on progress.
12. Experience in other solutions, Load Balancers/Proxy/WAN Optimizer/NAC/Network Monitoring/etc.
13. Bonus to have experience in Voice networking/Video Conferencing.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

•  Diploma/Degree in Computer Science or IT, or with at least 2-3 years of relevant working experience in IT Network & Security industry, and mainly involved in Post-sales activities of medium to large/complex Infrastructure.
• CCNA and CCNP certification or equivalent is required.
• Palo-Alto, Fortigate, SOPHOS certification would be preferred.
• Familiar and conversant in Routing, Switching, Wireless, MPLS, DHCP, DNS, NAC, Proxy, Syslog, Firewall, SSL VPN, Network Management and Structured Cabling.
• Ability to perform independently and interface with customers, partners and account team.
• Good knowledge of consulting frameworks and methodologies.
• Good fundamentals in the understanding of the inter-dependencies of the services (application, system & network).
