Business Analyst - Project Management Systems & Microsoft 365 Tools (Banking)

We are looking for a Business Analyst to support the enhancement and delivery of enterprise project management and reporting platforms. The successful candidate will work closely with business, operations, PMO, technology, and vendor teams to translate business needs into clear system requirements and support the end-to-end delivery of project management solutions. This role is suitable for candidates with strong hands-on experience in project management lifecycle processes, Microsoft Planner or similar project/task management tools, and business analysis within a structured enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements for project management system enhancements.
• Work with stakeholders to translate project governance, on-boarding, approval, budgeting, tracking, and reporting needs into clear system requirements.
• Prepare user stories, functional specifications, process flows, acceptance criteria, and integration requirements.
• Support the end-to-end project management lifecycle, including demand management, project approval, budget approval, delivery tracking, fulfillment, and ROI tracking.
• Conduct prototyping and support solution design discussions based on user requirements.
• Work with architecture, integration, delivery, and vendor teams to ensure requirements are technically feasible and aligned with enterprise standards.
• Support impact analysis for system enhancements, change requests, and process updates.
• Validate solution design against internal policies, controls, governance processes, and operational requirements.
• Support SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and post-implementation hyper-care.
• Act as a functional subject matter expert between business users and technology teams.

Requirements:

• Practical experience in end-to-end project management lifecycle processes, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Good understanding of project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid delivery.
• Hands-on experience with project planning or task management tools such as Microsoft Planner, Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar PPM tools.
• Strong knowledge of project tracking, resource planning, scheduling, capacity planning, budgeting, cost allocation, and forecasting concepts.
• Experience working with workflow, approval, and project governance processes.
• Ability to understand project requirements across different project types, including regulatory, business change, technology, and infrastructure projects.
• Strong documentation skills, including business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience supporting UAT, reviewing test cases, and working with users to resolve functional defects.
• Good understanding of integrations between project management tools and systems such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, HR/resource systems, financial systems, and reporting platforms.
• Ability to define and review interface requirements, data mappings, and end-to-end process flows.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with business, operations, compliance, technology, and vendor stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in a structured enterprise or regulated environment.

Good to Have:

• Experience in financial institutions, banking, or large enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Power BI, and Power Automate.
• Exposure to dashboarding, reporting, analytics, or data warehouse integrations.
• Familiarity with Agile ceremonies such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, and user story refinement.
• Exposure to enterprise architecture, data governance, security, or compliance processes.
