As we continue to scale, we seek an Accountant to join our HQ in Singapore. This role will play a pivotal part in establishing a robust controllership function to drive breakthrough results. Position Overview The Accountant will play a critical role in the establishment of a strong controllership function across the region. This role supports the Finance Manager (APAC) in relation to financial controlling and reporting process, month-end, year-end closing and other ad-hoc assignments as required. The role is also instrumental in defining leading practice and driving out key improvements through simplification and standardisation. As a growth position within a dynamic and entrepreneurial business, the general nature and level of work within this role is designed to progress as opportunities arise. This is a regional role, and will need close coordination with the operational businesses, regional and local FP&A, regional tax & treasury, and local auditors across the regions. Here are some of the EXCITING things you will get to do: • Perform financial accounting and controlling duties • Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and regional statutory reporting requirements, including the management of external audit and tax compliance • Assist in monthly management reporting, regional consolidation and Group reporting deliverables • Research and resolve accounting issues, including evaluation and making recommendations to achieve compliance to accounting standards • Participate in regional income tax compliance obligations, working alongside local tax agents in various regions • Participate in the continuous development of financial controlling through the strengthening, implementation, and enforcement of a strong system of internal controls, policies and procedures • Participate in continuous business maturity projects alongside other members in the finance team and wider organisation through business operational improvements and/or technological solutions to increase efficiency Requirements • More than 3 years of relevant work experience in financial reporting (prior big 4 audit experience advantageous) • Sound knowledge of accounting principles and concepts • Driven, passionate about learning and developing new skills • Strong attention to detail, highly organised, exceptional attitude, high degree of professionalism and discretion • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • Desire and ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment Your role in leading our success drivers & representing our unique mindset: • Lead us to be “RARELY SATISFIED” • Make things better each day; “PROGRESS OVER PERFECTION” • Use your knowledge of our consumer, understand that “DETAILS MAKE THE DIFFERENCE,” • Deliver something great; “WINNING IS A TEAM SPORT” • Be clear and honest, “COMMUNICATING FOR IMPACT.” Explore SharkNinja On Our Social Channels https://www.linkedin.com/company/sharkninja-apac/mycompany/ https://www.linkedin.com/company/sharkninja-apac/jobs/
