Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure for our organization. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability, reliability, and security of our network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and support enterprise WAN, LAN, and wireless network infrastructure solutions.
  • Manage network operations, ensuring high availability, security, reliability, and performance of ICT services.
  • Support infrastructure projects, cloud integration initiatives, and network optimisation activities.
  • Perform incident, problem, change, and disaster recovery management for network services.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, vendors, and project teams to deliver infrastructure solutions aligned with operational and business requirements.
  • Prepare technical specifications, tender documentation, and support procurement and vendor evaluation activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Government ICT policies, cybersecurity standards, and governance frameworks.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in network engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with WAN, LAN, and enterprise wireless networking technologies.
  • Solid understanding of routing, switching, TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, MPLS, SD-WAN, IPsec VPN, OSPF, and BGP.
  • Experience managing networking solutions from vendors such as Cisco, Aruba, or Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise.
  • Experience in network troubleshooting, monitoring, optimisation, and infrastructure project delivery.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Industry certifications, such as CCNP or CCIE, are preferred.
