QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
At least 1 year of development, implementation and/or maintenance of sensor-related systems/platforms in production environment.
At least 1 year of experience in sensor and IoT device integration as part of IoT/OT system implementations.
Experience in deployment, maintenance and integration of IoT / OT systems would be an advantage, including AWS IoT Greengrass, Azure IoT Edge, industrial protocols (RS-485, Modbus RTU, ModbusTCP), interoperability standards (OPC-UA), embedded protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN), edge computing and embedded systems integration.
Proficient in one or more programming languages such as C++, Python, .NET, Java, or equivalent technologies.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate, implement and maintain IoT systems and edge to deliver seamless integration between sensor hardware, edge and backend systems using relevant protocols (e.g. MQTT, RabbitMQ, AMQP, HTTPS REST API, CoAP, etc.)
Perform hardware-software integration testing and validation
Create and conduct comprehensive unit and integration system test cases
Perform impact analysis for change request (e.g. sensor upgrade with additional parameters)
