Job Description
Maternity Cover from April - December
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable.
- Lead and manage accounting team for daily accounting functions.
- Monitor and review timely monthly financial statements reports.
- Review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and provide meaningful insights.
- Oversee Inventory record, Fixed Asset schedule and Audit schedule.Prepare and maintain fixed asset, loan, trademark, and lease schedules, including lease reconciliations.
- Perform monthly updates of foreign exchange rates and conduct revaluation of AP, AR, bank balances, and loans.
- Handle monthly GST submissions, annual corporate income tax returns, withholding tax filings, and other statutory reporting to IRAS.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Prepare consolidation reporting packages for Japan headquarters.
- Manage and maintain banking facilities and related documentation.
- Act as SAP helpdesk support for accounting-related system issues.
- Collaborate with the finance team and cross-functional departments to support business operations and reporting needs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in relevant capacity
- Professional qualification such as CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent preferred
- Relevant accounting experience, ideally in a senior or supervisory role
- Strong background in audit, reporting, and compliance

- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with management
