Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Handle company full set of accounts.
- Responsible for the full spectrum of Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables.
- Monitor daily incoming funds to ensure timely receipts.
- Reconcile monthly bank statements with company accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Preparing monthly schedules and management-specific reports such as P&L, BS etc.
- Assist CFO in the annual budgeting process.
- Assist in analysing company year-end performance and propose improvement.
- Quarterly GST tabulation and submission of GST F5.
- Preparation of weekly cashflow projection.
- Maintain Fixed Assets Register and ledger.
- Handle audit compliance and engage with external auditors / corporate secretary for tax filling, AGM and other secretarial compliance.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
- Starting up new accounting department with CFO.
Requirements:
- Min. Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalents. ACCA or CPA preferred.
- Minimum 3-4 years of accounting, general ledger experience.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting software.
- Prior experience as Senior Account Executive/Manager in Food Manufacturing industry advantageous.
