Job Description
Resposibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans with clear timelines, milestones, and deliverables to guide project execution
- Utilize project management tools to create detailed schedules and track progress against objectives
- Define project scope and establish measurable objectives aligned with client requirements and business goals
- Prepare and manage project budgets to ensure cost efficiency and timely financial reporting
- Monitor expenditures continuously and implement corrective actions to address cost overruns promptly
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to secure favorable terms and ensure project needs are met
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams including engineers, architects, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project goals
- Assign clear roles, responsibilities, and tasks to team members to optimize productivity and accountability
- Foster collaboration and resolve conflicts within teams to maintain a positive and effective working environment
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients, contractors, and internal teams to facilitate communication and decision-making
- Provide regular project updates, progress reports, and presentations to stakeholders to maintain transparency and alignment
- Address client concerns proactively and adjust project plans to meet evolving requirements
- Ensure all construction activities comply with industry standards, building codes, and client specifications through rigorous oversight
- Conduct site inspections to verify work quality and adherence to approved plans and specifications
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to maintain high standards throughout project lifecycle
- Identify potential risks including safety, financial, and legal, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact
- Monitor and manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs to maintain project integrity and delivery timelines
- Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and protocols on-site to protect personnel and assets
- Review and manage contracts to ensure all terms and conditions are fulfilled and risks are mitigated
- Oversee daily on-site operations and resolve operational issues promptly to maintain project momentum
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline, recognized by Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore
- At least 10 years’ relevant experience in construction industry
- Candidate with extensive experience in building projects preferred
- Excellent team player, good interpersonal skills and a “can-do” attitude
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
