The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in fast-paced environments, managing multiple stakeholders, and adapting delivery approaches to meet evolving business needs. Experience with hotel or hospitality systems is advantageous, but candidates with strong IT project management experience will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with business and technical stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, timelines, and success criteria
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and governance artefacts
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and issues, and proactively drive mitigation actions
  • Manage scope changes and assess impact on cost, timeline, and delivery outcomes

Execution and Monitoring

  • Coordinate cross-functional project teams and external vendors to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
  • Track project progress against milestones and take corrective actions where required
  • Facilitate regular project meetings, status updates, and decision forums
  • Apply Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies based on project needs

Stakeholder and Vendor Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communication
  • Engage business users and senior stakeholders to ensure alignment, clarity, and expectation management
  • Manage vendor performance and support procurement or contracting activities where required

Quality, Testing and Go-Live

  • Coordinate user acceptance testing and operational readiness activities
  • Support cutover planning, go-live execution, and post-implementation stabilization
  • Ensure proper documentation, knowledge transfer, and formal project closure

Requirements

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management
  • Proven track record delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects
  • Experience in hospitality, integrated resorts, entertainment, or service-driven environments is preferred but not mandatory
  • Exposure to hotel systems such as PMS, POS, ERP, or guest-facing platforms is an advantage
  • Candidates without Oracle Opera PMS experience will still be considered if they demonstrate strong project delivery capability

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
  • Structured and disciplined approach to planning, risk management, and execution
  • Ability to operate independently in fast-paced and operationally critical environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and change
  • Solid understanding of budget management, vendor coordination, and delivery governance
