Project Manager

Location: West

Working Hour: 5.5 days

Our client is a well established insulation distributor and solutions provider in Singapore and South East Asia. They are looking for a project manager to lead a deliver construction projects from initiation through completion. This role oversees planning, coordination, budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder management to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and within budget. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact between clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

• Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, schedule, cost estimates, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate design development, procurement, and construction phases.
• Ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved according to contractual requirements.

Budget & Cost Control

• Prepare and manage project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and cost tracking reports.
• Monitor project expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Review and certify contractor claims, variations, and change orders.

Stakeholder & Client Management

• Act as the primary liaison between clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
• Conduct regular project meetings and provide clear progress updates to stakeholders.
• Manage client expectations and resolve issues proactively.

Contract & Risk Management

• Review contracts, technical specifications, and tender documents.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Quality & Compliance

• Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
• Conduct site inspections and quality audits.
• Ensure regulatory approvals and documentation are properly managed.

Team Leadership

• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Provide guidance to project coordinators and site personnel.
• Foster a positive and performance-driven project environment.

Requirements

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in construction or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of local regulations, BCA codes, WSH requirements, and authority submission processes.
• Good understanding of budgeting, cost control, and contract administration.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
