About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Operations Support Engineer to support mission-critical IT systems operating in both on-premise environments and Government Commercial Cloud (AWS).

This role focuses on ensuring system reliability, operational stability, and security across infrastructure platforms supporting 24×7 business services in a regulated environment.

You will play a key role in production support, infrastructure operations, cloud administration, incident resolution, automation, and deployment support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for systems hosted in cloud (AWS) and on-premise data centres in a 24×7 environment

• Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents and ensure minimal downtime

• Maintain system availability, performance, and security compliance

• Perform infrastructure maintenance and administration activities

• Support incident management and root cause resolution

• Work with internal teams, vendors, and service providers to meet SLAs

• Maintain operational documentation and production runbooks

• Support cloud operations including compute, networking, IAM and monitoring

• Execute production deployments including validation and rollback

• Develop automation scripts and deployment pipelines

• Support infrastructure provisioning using Terraform / Ansible

• Assist in rollout of new infrastructure and applications

• Support cost tracking, billing and budgeting activities

• Prepare operational reports for stakeholders

• Handle day-to-day operational and technical issues

• Identify process automation opportunities

• Ensure compliance with IT governance standards

• Support change implementation and transition to operations

• Maintain SOPs and operational processes

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT / Computer Science or equivalent

• Singapore Citizen (Mandatory – CAT Clerance requirement)

• 4–6 years of IT Operations / Infrastructure Support experience

• Experience supporting Windows / Linux servers

• Experience supporting cloud environments (AWS preferred)

• Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure and applications

• Familiarity with enterprise IT governance environments

• Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Jira

• Knowledge of deployment processes and production support

• Exposure to automation tools such as Terraform / Ansible is advantageous

• Relevant certifications such as ITIL / AWS are a plus

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
