Senior IT Security Engineer (AWS Cloud Security)

Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain security controls across AWS cloud and on-premise infrastructure
• Support secure cloud architecture design and enforce best practices
• Manage AWS security services such as IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, WAF, and CloudTrail
• Conduct Vulnerability Assessments (VA) and coordinate remediation efforts
• Support Penetration Testing activities and follow up on findings
• Configure and manage Fortinet UTM / firewall solutions
• Monitor security incidents and assist in investigation and response
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, governance, and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent
• 6 to 8 years of experience in IT Security / Cloud Security
• Strong hands-on experience in AWS cloud security implementation and operations
• Experience in vulnerability assessment and remediation management
• Exposure to penetration testing coordination (cloud & on-prem)
• Practical experience managing Fortinet UTM solutions
• AWS Security Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Security – Specialty) preferred
• Knowledge of Azure Cloud Security is an added advantage
• Experience in Insurance domain is highly preferred
• Experience in regulated industries such as banking or financial services is advantageous
• Familiarity with MAS TRM guidelines, ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS frameworks is a plus
• Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell / Python) will be an added advantage
• Good stakeholder communication skills
