Technical Business Analyst Lead - 12 Months Contract - Up to SGD8.8k

Morgan McKinley is hiring for a Technical Business Analyst Lead for a 12-month contract assignment with a possibility to extend or to go perm!

Responsibilities: 

• Lead end-to-end business analysis for assigned projects, ensuring clear, traceable requirements aligned with project goals, and mentor junior analysts to maintain standards.
• Act as the main liaison for business analysis, collaborating closely with clients, product owners, architects, and delivery teams to shape solution scope and direction.
• Facilitate requirement elicitation through workshops and interviews, ensuring stakeholder alignment, timely decisions, and comprehensive documentation of functional and non-functional needs.
• Work with architects and developers to validate solution designs, assess feasibility, and ensure requirements are scalable and technically sound.
• Support delivery activities such as change impact analysis, UAT, and issue resolution, while contributing to project governance, risk management, and client communication.

Requirements:

•  At least 4 years of experience in Business Analyst with proven expertise in end-to-end business analysis for complex initiatives, including requirement gathering, validation, prioritization, and guiding junior analysts to ensure consistency and high-quality outcomes.
• Strong technical understanding of system architectures, data flows, and integration patterns, with the ability to collaborate with developers and architects on technical trade-offs and solution validation across Java, SQL, AWS, and related environments.
• Skilled in leading stakeholder engagement, translating technical concepts into clear business language, managing expectations, and facilitating alignment among senior management, business, and technology teams.
• Experience in facilitating client workshops, solution design, and migration initiatives, with a focus on continuous improvement, risk analysis, and delivering actionable recommendations.
• Excellent collaboration, documentation, and communication skills, with a solid understanding of SDLC, Agile, and hybrid delivery models to ensure successful project delivery.
