Data Privacy Officer

Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Data Privacy Officer. The Data Privacy Officer will oversee company compliance with applicable data protection laws and regulations. Key responsibilities include creating and implementing privacy policies, monitoring data protection activities, advising on regulatory compliance, and conducting privacy impact assessments. The role also involves responding to data protection inquiries and collaborating with teams to enhance privacy measures. Qualifications • Strong knowledge and experience in Data Privacy, Privacy Compliance, and Privacy Policies • Expertise in Regulatory Compliance and relevant laws related to data protection • Ability to develop and implement effective data privacy strategies • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail • Strong communication and advisory skills • Bachelor's degree or higher in Law, IT Security, or a related field • Certifications like CIPP/E, CIPM, or CIPT are an advantage
