Product Manager

Responsibilities

·   Responsible for a range of automotive parts such as brake pads & rotors, filters, steering systems, mountings &bushings.

·   Lead and conduct feasibility assessment studies.

·   Lead design reviews.

·   Make product recommendations in line with required upgrades due to EOL technologies and/ or business requirements.

·   Verify specifications and technical drawings pre-production.

·   Work with the Sales and Purchase teams to determine external customers’ product requirements.

·   Evaluate existing parts/materials for improvements to optimize business opportunities.

·   Document the controlled revision of the products throughout its lifecycle.

·   Understand safety agency specifications and environmental restrictions and design within these guidelines to meet customers' requirements.

·   Continuously build product and technical knowledge and experience across the business.

·  Any other reports/duties assigned by the Management.

Qualifications
·   Professional qualifications, Diploma/ Degree in relevant fields or equivalent.

·   Min 5 years’ experience in a similar role in the automotive industry

·   In-depth understanding of automotive and industry-specific regulations and standards.

·  Experienced in making and reading technical drawings.
