What You Will Do
In this role, you’ll own the direction, delivery, and evolution of the SharePoint Online intranet. You’ll bring together strategy, design, engineering, governance, and change management to build a digital workplace experience employees love using.
Here are your main responsibilities:
1) Own the Product Vision & Strategy
You’ll define the intranet’s purpose, direction, and roadmap — translating business goals into modern capabilities like content publishing, collaboration, personalization, search, and knowledge management.
You’ll gather insights through user research, stakeholder interviews, and competitive benchmarking to prioritize what matters most and ensure the intranet evolves in the right direction.
2) Lead Requirements & Solution Design
You’ll run workshops and work closely with business teams to understand needs, turn them into clear requirements, and shape user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
Partnering with UX/UI designers, you’ll bring ideas to life through wireframes, prototypes, and governance models that support a clean and scalable information architecture.
3) Drive Delivery & Execution Across Teams
You’ll work directly with engineering teams, SharePoint developers, and Microsoft 365 platform specialists to bring the roadmap to life.
You’ll manage sprints, prioritize the backlog, and ensure features are delivered on time and aligned with best practices for Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and enterprise governance.
Where needed, you’ll help shape migration plans, content structures, metadata strategies, and site architecture.
4) Engage Stakeholders & Communicate Clearly
You’ll be the central point of contact for executives, site owners, and stakeholders across the organization — aligning priorities, balancing competing needs, and ensuring transparency on timelines, risks, and decisions.
5) Drive Change Management & User Adoption
You’ll work closely with Communications and HR teams to deliver launches, training, playbooks, FAQs, demos, and adoption campaigns.
Your goal is simple: make the intranet a daily habit, not just another tool.
6) Lead Operations & Continuous Improvement
You’ll oversee governance, content lifecycle management, permissions, compliance, and analytics.
You’ll use SharePoint insights, Viva tools, and feedback loops to continuously refine the experience — while staying up to date with Microsoft 365 roadmap enhancements and proactively recommending improvements.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in product management, digital workplace solutions, or enterprise platform delivery
- Strong hands‑on experience with SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, and intranet or digital workplace platforms
- Solid understanding of information architecture, content management, and digital employee experience principles
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams (engineering, UX, stakeholders) in complex enterprise environments
- Proven ability to lead end‑to‑end platform rollouts, from discovery to launch and continuous improvement
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders
- Experience working within Agile frameworks, such as Scrum, for product delivery
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience leading enterprise intranet or digital workplace transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with Viva Connections, Viva Topics, Viva Engage, or other modern M365 experiences
- Knowledge of governance models, content lifecycle frameworks, metadata design, and compliance requirements
- Background in consulting, IT strategy, digital transformation, or enterprise collaboration programs
- Experience using analytics from SharePoint Online, Viva Insights, or similar tools to inform product decisions
