Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead Technical Resolution: Supervise all technical activities and troubleshooting related to all manufacturing test platforms, inspection machines, and associated peripherals (including but not limited to ICT, FCT, AXI, FP, and offline IC programming).
  • Advanced Failure Analysis: Manage high-complexity equipment breakdown activities and perform root-cause analysis to provide long-term technical solutions, minimize production downtime, and directly drive improvements in MTTR and MTBF metrics.
  • Continuous Improvement Implementation: Identify floor-level bottlenecks and actively execute continuous improvement projects aimed at optimizing equipment reliability, reducing repair times, and eliminating process waste to support the department's overall KPIs.
  • Standardize Procedures: Maintain and update current equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration procedures and work instructions to ensure ongoing consistency.
  • Regulatory & Safety: Supervise and ensure all test processes and equipment comply to regulatory and safety requirements.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of the support team.
  • Technical Skill: Overseeing the training and development programs to enhance technical skills of the team to improve the production support efficiency.
  • Reporting & Communication: Attend department meetings to report on department KPIs and project status.
  • Documentation Management: Review and update procedures, manuals, and troubleshooting guides to reflect current processes and equipment configurations.
  • PM & Calibration Tracking: Review Schedule and track preventative maintenance and calibration activities for all test equipment.
  • Inventory Monitoring: Monitor spare parts inventory and initiate procurement requests to ensure essential test components are readily available.
  • 5S Compliance: Monitor 5S for all equipment on the line.
  • Additional Duties: Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management.


Job Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or equivalent. 
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in related fields is preferred. 
  • Preferably with good knowledge of Electronics fundamentals.
  • ICT/ AXI/FP equipment support knowledge is highly preferred.
  • Programming knowledge is highly preferred.
  • Strong supervisory, mentoring, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge in using measuring instruments and schematic reading.
  • Negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office/ Google Suite applications.
