LEAD RESIDENT TECHNICAL OFFICER (M&E)

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise construction and related works on-site, ensuring strict adherence to project specifications, drawings, approved sketches, product/system specifications, contractor’s method statements, work procedures, and site instructions from the supervising QPs and consultants.
• Ensure contractors comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Building Control Act, relevant Codes of Practice, and requirements from statutory authorities such as BCA, LTA, NEA, NParks, PUB, SCDF, and utility/service providers like SPPG, SingTel, and StarHub
• Conduct site inspections to ensure that contractors implement timely corrective actions and preventive/mitigation measures to safeguard surrounding structures.
• Report any non-compliance with approved plans, shop drawings, or project specifications to the supervising QP and/or appointed Project Manager and Consultants
• Liaise closely with the supervising QPs and consultants (engineers, architects, specialists) on reviews and approvals of revised or amended designs, drawings, and technical submissions.
• Check and review shop drawings, construction drawings, material samples, etc., to ensure alignment with project requirements and specifications.
• Review, evaluate, and assess instrumentation monitoring data, interpret the results, and provide analytical reports and presentations for informed decision-making.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Cut & Cover tunnelling or in the supervision of installation and monitoring instrumentation, including collation, analysis, and interpretation of monitoring data using relevant software.
• Diploma or Bachelor in Civil and Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Valid RTO Certificate issued by the Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) of IES/ACES as a Qualified Site Supervisor (QSS) in Singapore.
• Valid RTO (Tunnel) Certificate issued by the JAC of IES/ACES as a QSS in Singapore.
• Willing to work rotating shift.
