Role Overview
The Business Development Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the company’s commercial strategy. This individual will manage partner relationships, track ongoing deals, coordinate cross-functional workflows, and provide actionable market intelligence. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced financial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner Relationship Management
- Support the onboarding and ongoing management of strategic partners, including financial institutions, issuers, and service providers
- Act as a day-to-day point of contact to ensure partner needs are addressed promptly
- Help identify opportunities to deepen partnerships and enhance commercial outcomes
Deal Tracking & Execution
- Maintain accurate records of the business development pipeline and deal progress
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely follow-ups and milestone completion
- Prepare materials, summaries, and updates for internal leadership
Internal Coordination
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, operations, and product teams to support partnership initiatives
- Facilitate clear communication across departments to ensure efficient execution
- Monitor project timelines and proactively resolve bottlenecks
Market & Competitor Analysis
- Conduct ongoing competitor and industry research within capital markets and fintech
- Produce concise daily or periodic reports highlighting market developments, risks, and opportunities
- Translate insights into strategic recommendations for the BD team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in business development, investment banking, consulting, fintech, or financial services preferred
- Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with CRM tools is a plus
