Job Description
Position Overview
The Spa Receptionist is responsible for giving guests a positive impression of the spa from the point of reservation to the moment they arrive and depart. The individual has a vast understanding of the services and products offered, answers emails and calls, assists guests with their enquiries bookings and escort the guest to the lockers/facilities when necessary. The individual checks guests in and out of the spa in a professional manner, and ensures all guests leave satisfied.
The Role
Reception Operations
• Maintain high levels of service standards throughout the spa
• Provide detailed descriptions of spa treatments, packages, services, andfacilities
• Provide spa tours and escort guests to treatment areas
• Promote spa services and products
• Address guest complaints with empathy and courtesy, always finding aresolution to ensure complete guest satisfaction
• Handle correspondences and phone calls
• Answer to enquiries and requests
• Perform opening and closing duties
• Manage guest register
• Process payments accurately
• Assist with booking, changing and cancelling of spa appointments
• Keep the reception area clean and organised at all times
• Ensure a conducive environment at the holding area as guests wait for their turn
• Provide assistance with any tasks related to the spa as needed during its operation
Talent Profile
• Have a thorough knowledge of the spa industry
• 1 to 2 years of experience in luxury spa or similar field
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic knowledge of computer programs including Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Office administration, Internet applications, Telephone and Opera
