Job Summary

The Mixed-Signal IC (MEMS Interface) Design Engineer will lead the design and development of capacitive and piezoelectric MEMS interface ASICs, driving circuit design, simulation, layout, verification, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready mixed-signal IC solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop capacitive and piezoelectric MEMS interface ASICs, including amplifiers, ADCs, filters, and control logic with high impedance inputs, ultra-low power, and low noise characteristics
  • Schedule and execute design, simulation, and layout of mixed-signal circuit blocks, ensuring pre- and post-silicon verification accuracy
  • Conduct periodic design reviews with application engineers to refine and validate circuit designs
  • Support test development and product development teams to transition projects successfully to production
  • Perform laboratory testing and validation of IC prototypes to ensure design specifications and performance targets are met

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • PhD or Master’s Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in analog or mixed-signal IC design
  • Proficient in CMOS process technology and analog/mixed-signal IC design EDA tools
  • Experienced in designing analog and mixed-signal circuits such as regulators, DC-DC converters, low-power and low-noise biasing circuits, amplifiers, sigma-delta modulators, and ADCs
  • Knowledge of Linux operating system for design and testing environments
  • Experience in designing high-resolution, low-power sigma-delta modulators and ultra-low power ADCs preferred
  • Experience in MEMS interface ASIC design advantageous
