Team Introduction
The TikTok Search Product Team is the driving force behind one of the platform's most critical user experiences - search and discovery. Our mission is to build the world's best search experience that connects billions of users with the content they love and the answers they need on TikTok.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the user experience and scale of TikTok local service search
- Able to provide search planning (including goals/core path) based on analysis of user requirement,industry competition environment , TikTok content ecology.
- Collaborate closely with RD/ OP / DA to promote collaborative launch of various projects, and conduct systematic analysis of project data.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

- Hands‑on experience in product strategy is required.

- Able to comprehend the supply‑demand structure of local life service categories, with in‑depth understanding of user search decision‑making journeys and transaction conversion.

- Proficient in core capabilities including information architecture design, content structuring, and filter/tag system development.

- Data‑driven mindset with strong capabilities in experiment design and data analysis; able to independently conduct analysis using tools such as SQL and Python.

- Excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills, capable of coordinating resources from algorithm, frontend, operation and other teams to drive the delivery of complex projects.

Preferred Qualifications

- Information Engineering major preferred

- Capable of independently writing SQL queries to perform data analysis

- Candidates with experience in search/recommendation systems, e‑commerce or local life services scenarios are preferred. Prior interest or experience in AI search, content understanding, and multimodal information integration is a plus

- Candidates with search interaction or strategy design experience are preferred.
