• Certification: CCNA preferred or candidate must pass within 1 year
• Working Location: Depot Road
• Working Days: Monday – Friday
• Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 6:00PM
• Duty Week: Report onsite by 8:00 AM
• After Office Activation: Need to respond to mobile calls and return onsite if required

Job Overview

• We are in search of a highly skilled Onsite Network Support Engineer to support and enhance our network infrastructure.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for onsite support, implementation, and maintenance of network equipment, ensuring the stability, reliability, and security of the network environment.
• The scope includes onsite support, troubleshooting, patch management, and asset inventory.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Cisco Catalyst Switches (IOS), Cisco Nexus Switches (NXOS), and Alcatel Lucent Switches (AOS).
• Implement and maintain Palo Al to and Fortinet Fortigate Firewalls for network security and access control.
• Administer Alcatel Lucent Wireless Controllers to ensure a secure and robust wireless environment.
• Utilize SolarWinds NPM and NCM for network monitoring and configuration management.
• Manage and maintain ClearPass Policy Manager for network access control and policy enforcement.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in network equipment support.
• Proficiency in Cisco Catalyst Switches (IOS), Cisco Nexus Switches (NXOS), and Alcatel Lucent Switches (AOS).
• Experience in configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls.
• Hands-on experience with Alcatel Lucent Wireless Controllers.
• Familiarity with SolarWinds NPM/NCM for network monitoring and configuration management.
• Proficient in ClearPass Policy Manager for network access control and policy enforcement.
• Knowledge of network protocols and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Additional Preferred Skills

• Experience with firewall solutions such as Check Point or Cisco ASA.
• Proficiency in network encryption protocols and VPN technologies.
• Understanding of network segmentation and micro-segmentation principles.
• Proactive attitude with strong technical background in network onsite support.
