Principal Engineer, Electrical and Automation

Key Responsibilities

• Designed, reviewed, and integrated marine electrical power, automation, and navigation/communication systems for offshore and marine projects.
• Performed and reviewed short circuit, harmonics, discrimination, protection coordination, and FMEA studies.
• Developed and reviewed single line diagrams, control architectures, load analysis/balancing, voltage drop calculations, lux calculations, and technical procurement specifications.
• Prepared detailed engineering deliverables including schematics, equipment layouts, cable routing plans, and termination drawings.
• Collaborated with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues throughout project execution.

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in marine/offshore electrical engineering design.
• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

Technical Skills

• Marine Power Systems, Automation Systems, Navigation & Communication Systems
• IEC / IEEE / NEC Standards and Classification Society Rules
• AutoCAD, AVEVA, Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork abilities.
