Junior Automation Engineer / Electrical Fitter

Required Position : Electrical Fitter / JUNIOR Marine Service Engineer [Boiler/ Automation/ IGS]

Salary: Up to $ 2,500 – 3,500

Office Location: West Coast

Office Operating hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm

Responsibilities:

Assisting for Senior Engineer’s following job scope ;

-To attend vessels at the Shipyard / Anchorage, to carry out repair, recalibration and rectify of marine automation and instrumentation devices in accordance with the manufacturer’s instruction for Boiler Combustion Control System, Inert Gas Control System, etc

- To carry out the testing with electrical characteristics, for example voltage, resistance, mA by using voltmeters, ohmmeters and mA meters

- To provide both onsite and remote technical support

- To prepare service report in a timely manner and update the project logs

Singapore, China, Middle east, Europe, others

Requirements:

- Candidate to possess a Diploma, Advanced/Higher Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Certificate, NiTEC in Engineering (Electrical / Electronic) or equivalent

- Able to read technical drawings

- On board experience for VLCC, LNG vessels, Container ships and Chemical tankers

- Work experience required in the marine automation field for 1 to 3 years (On-job training will be provided)

- Able to travel inbound/outbound (Anchorage /Shipyard/Overseas) on assignment when required, during odd hours, including weekends

- Preferable experience & knowledge in Marine Equipment engineering, boiler control system, control valves

(experience in calibration for control valves and pneumatic instruments preferred)

- Possess good work discipline
