Automation Engineer (Strong Siemens PLC experience)

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with expertise in Siemens PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems to support automation, robotics, and materials handling projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, programming, testing, and commissioning automation systems that enhance productivity, efficiency, and safety in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, and implement automation solutions using Siemens PLC, HMI, and SCADA platforms.
• Develop and integrate robotics and materials handling systems to optimize production processes.
• Conduct system simulation, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure functionality and reliability.
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver automation projects on time and within specifications.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and quality protocols.
• Provide technical support, documentation, and training for operators and maintenance teams.
• Lead system upgrades, modifications, and continuous improvement initiatives for automation systems.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors for project implementation and technical support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in automation engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with strong Siemens PLC programming, HMI configuration, and SCADA integration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex automation issues.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently or in a team.
• Good communication skills and willingness to travel for project commissioning (if required).
