Job Description

Position: Finance Director / Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the overall financial strategy and work closely with the CEO and management team on business plans, tenders, investments, and regional expansion.

  • Oversee the full spectrum of finance functions: accounting, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and working capital management.

  • Implement strong project costing and margin control for façade/construction projects, including materials, subcontractors, site costs, and variations.

  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly management reports, group financial statements, and audits in compliance with SFRS and Singapore regulations.

  • Manage banking and funding arrangements, including facilities, trade lines, guarantees, and performance bonds, while optimizing capital structure.

  • Strengthen internal controls and financial policies across tender approvals, procurement, claims, collections, and capex.

  • Partner with Project, QS, Procurement, and Operations teams to monitor project performance and proactively address risks.

  • Drive digitalisation, systems implementation, and process improvements within the finance function.

  • Support IPO/listing readiness and investor relations, if applicable.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Business.

  • Professional qualification such as CA (Singapore), ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is required.

  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, with 5–8 years in a senior finance leadership role (Finance Director, Group FC, or CFO).

  • Experience in construction, façade, engineering, or project-based industries in Singapore is highly preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of SFRS, Singapore Companies Act, and local tax regulations.

  • Proven track record in project accounting, cost control, cash flow management, and bank financing.

  • Hands-on exposure to ERP/project accounting systems and management reporting.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and commercial acumen; able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
