Role Summary

We are seeking a senior-level Business Project Manager to lead Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) projects across commercial, industrial, oil/gas, Pharmaceutical, semiconductor & process plant industries in singapore. The role covers full project lifecycle management, including tender strategy, cost control, client co-ordination to support business growth, technical oversight, and stakeholder management. Ensures projects meet singapore regulatory and safety standards.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project management from tender preparation to final handover.
• Prepare tender document with strategies, cost estimations, technical proposals and contract negotiations with client, consultant & main contractor for design / design & Build Projects.
• Develop detailed project schedules, manpower planning and resource allocation.
• Design & installation of Electrical & Instrumentation systems including HT/LT cabling, lighting, Power, Distribution systems, cable containment, VFD's and control systems.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore codes, WSH regulations, and quality standards.
• Monitor and Manage project budgets, cost control, profit margins, risk assessments, timelines, procurement, subcontractors, vendors, Suppliers.
• Lead testing, commissioning, system integration activities and project hand-over.
• Knowledge in Allen-Bradley, ABB, Siemens & Schneider PLC to modify & update the process for BMS programming in industrial Buildings.
• Must have experience to use BIM MEP (Revit / NWD Software / 3D / Navis) model to verify & update the drawings.
• Ensure contractual compliance and documentation accuracy.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and site teams.
• Review the MOS, RA, SWP & FPP for submission, Execution & Completion of projects.
• Review the ITP, PQP, QA/QC, project specification as per customer requirements to execute the projects.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers & vendors.
• Supervise site teams, ensure effective communications to everyone & conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.
• Review variation orders, subcontractor / vendor / supplier claims and payment certificate.
• Knowledge in MS Projects / Primavera-P6 software.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical & Electronics / Instrumentation / Power Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10-13 years of relevant experience in E&I contracting and large-scale project management.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore regulations and industry standards.
• Demonstrated experience in tender management, project budgeting and cost control.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering project on time and with-in budget.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management capabilities, Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Good documentation and reporting capabilities.
• Professional certifications in project Management (e.g. PMP or equivalent) / Biz-Safe certification will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Singapore Class-3 driving licence will be an added advantage.
