Business Analyst

Epergne Solutions is looking for an experienced Business Analyst (BA) with strong Reinsurance, specifically Property & Casualty (P&C) domain expertise to work closely with underwriting, finance, and claims stakeholders. The role focuses on understanding business pain points, translating them into analytics and reporting requirements, and supporting the development of Power BI–based dashboards and analytical insights as part of a pilot modernization initiative.

This role requires strong business-facing capabilities, hands-on data understanding, and the ability to bridge business needs with technical teams in a traditional, on‑premise insurance environment.

Required Skills

Strong experience in Property & Casualty (P\&C) Insurance or Reinsurance, preferably covering underwriting, reinsurance treaties, exposure management, claims, or finance reporting.

Hands‑on understanding of P&C insurance concepts such as policy lifecycle, premiums, claims, loss ratios, reserves, exposure, and renewals

Ability to speak the business language of insurance and translate it into analytical requirements.

Good understanding of Power BI (dashboard concepts, KPIs, filters, user interaction) or similar BI tools like Cognos

Comfort working with raw structured data from P&C core insurance systems in on‑prem environments.

Excellent communication skills with senior business stakeholders across underwriting, claims, and finance

Ability to work with onsite and offshore teams, with at least one strong onsite business‑facing presence.
