Job Title: PCS Software Engineer (DeltaV)
Location: Tuas, Singapore
Contract Duration: 1 Year (Renewable based on project requirements)
Working Hours: 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM (Monday to Friday)

2.    Role Summary:

We are seeking 5 experienced PCS Software Engineers to join a major pharmaceutical engineering project. The successful candidates will facilitate the delivery, commissioning, and qualification of Process Control System (PCS) software. This role involves close collaboration with the system vendor and the client’s Commissioning and Qualification (C&Q) team to ensure successful project execution.

3.    Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Development Support: Collaborate with various project workstreams to support the design and development of the PCS software in coordination with the system vendor.
• Documentation: Develop Functional Specifications (FS) and Design Specifications (DS) in alignment with project requirements and approved standards. Review PCS-related design documentation and provide technical feedback.
• Testing & Validation: Witness Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) conducted by the vendor to ensure software conforms to user requirements.
• Project Execution: Attend technical and project management meetings to contribute to overall progress. Track project deliverables, maintain documentation, and ensure adherence to the agreed schedule.
• Commissioning & Qualification (C&Q): Provide hands-on support for C&Q activities, including:
• Cold and Hot Loop Checks.

PCS network interface testing and troubleshooting.

Batch software commissioning and functional testing.

Qualification testing, including Installation Qualification (IQ) and Operational Qualification (OQ).

• Process Support: Support Engineering and Performance Process Qualification (PPQ) batches as required.
• Change Management: Support and track change management processes throughout the project lifecycle.

4.    Requirements:

• Proven experience as a DeltaV Engineer or PCS Software Engineer in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment.
• Strong understanding of GAMP, GMP, and validation lifecycle (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Experience with Functional Specifications (FS) and Design Specifications (DS).
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.

5.    Additional Information:

• Reporting: Engineers will provide monthly progress reports and participate in regular reviews.
• Overtime: Candidates must be willing to work overtime or shifts during critical project periods (compensated at 1x the applicable hourly rate, subject to manager approval).
• Travel: This role is site-based in Tuas; overseas travel is not included.
