AS400 Technical Lead

Role Summary : The AS400 Technical Lead is responsible for providing on‑shoretechnical leadership for Bank’s IBM i (AS400) based core & assisted bankingapplications. The role ensures application stability, regulatory compliance,and controlled change delivery across multiple country entities, while actingas the primary technical interface between business stakeholders, IT governanceteams, and offshore delivery units.

Key Responsibilities : 

• Own end‑to‑end technical responsibility for AS400 applications, including country‑specific core banking, lending, deposits, payments, and regulatory systems.
• Ensure stability and performance of RPG/RPGLE, COBOL, CL, and DB2/400–based applications supporting critical banking operation
• Stakeholder Management, Regulatory & Compliance Alignment
• Proven experience in core banking or retail/corporate banking systems, preferably global banks.Strong exposure to multi‑country banking applications, regulatory reporting, and audit‑driven environments.
• Experience working in on‑shore/off‑shore delivery models for BFSI clients.
• Core Technical Skills: 
• Strong hands‑on experience with IBM i / AS400 platform.
• Expert knowledge of RPG/RPGLE, COBOL, CL, DB2/400.
• Strong understanding of batch processing, online programs, file handling, and interface integrations.
